07:00 – 07:30: Begin with pick-up from your hotel or private address in Hanoi and set off toward Mai Chau, located in Hoa Binh province.

09:30 – 10:00: Arrive at Thung Khe Pass, one of Vietnam’s top ten scenic passes, offering breathtaking views of the valley below.

11:00 – 11:30: Relish a special lunch featuring local cuisine that reflects the yin-yang balance in Asian cooking traditions. Post-lunch, the exploration of Mai Chau continues.

13:30 – 14:00: Embark on a unique cycling journey through rice fields and limestone mountains, where you’ll witness farmers at work and visit tranquil villages, including Pom Coong, Lac, Nhot, and Na Phon.

15:30: Discover the traditional lifestyle of the Thai ethnic minority. Visit an artisan family in Mai Chau, where Mrs. Mang preserves the art of embroidery and weaving. Her intricate handmade creations feature the delicate patterns and motifs distinctive to Vietnam’s mountainous ethnic communities.

16:00: Depart for Pu Luong Nature Reserve, a one-hour drive through scenic terraced rice fields on a special-use vehicle.

17:00: Check in, relax, and enjoy a Vietnamese dinner at a local restaurant, followed by an overnight stay in Pu Luong.

DAY 2: PU LUONG

07:00 – 08:00: Begin the day with breakfast at your accommodation.

09:00: Set off on a scenic walk along small paths to visit remote villages, starting with Kho Muong Village, nestled in a stunning valley of terraced rice fields. Discover Doi Cave (Bat Cave), Pu Luong’s largest cave, formed from massive limestone blocks over 250 million years ago. Inside, admire thousands of intricate stalactites and enjoy the soothing sounds of water dripping from above.

12:00: Savor a lunch of authentic local dishes, prepared with ingredients provided by the ethnic minority communities.

14:30: Embark on a gentle trek to Uoi and Lan Villages, winding through verdant paths and taking in breathtaking valley views. Capture a panoramic view of Uoi Village, nestled at the base of a mountain, and continue downhill to explore Lan Village. If time allows, visit a local family to learn about their traditional brocade weaving craft.

17:00: Return to your accommodation for a refreshing swim in the infinity pool, perfect for unwinding after a full day of trekking.

DAY 3: PU LUONG - HANOI

07:00: Start your day with breakfast before checking out of your accommodation.

08:00: Board the van for a visit to the Pho Doan local market, available only on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday mornings. This vibrant fair is a hub for the Kinh, Muong, and Thai people, who come from nearby communes in Ba Thuoc District, Tan Lac, and Lac Son districts in Hoa Binh Province to exchange, buy, and sell their goods.

09:30: Hop on a bike and ride along scenic small roads and trails through lush terraced rice fields and jungles, heading towards Hieu Waterfall, renowned for its breathtaking, untamed beauty.

12:00 – 12:30: Enjoy a delightful lunch featuring local cuisine, allowing you to savor the flavors of the region.

14:00: Depart from Pu Luong and head back to Hanoi. Along the way, stop to admire the stunning water wheels, getting an up-close look at how water is ingeniously transported from rivers to handmade bamboo aqueducts using simple yet effective constructions.

18:30 – 19:00: Arrive back in Hanoi, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or private address, concluding your tour.
