07:00: Our driver and guide will pick you up from your hotel to begin the journey to Chuong Village, renowned for its iconic Vietnamese conical hats, or “Non La.”
08:45: Arrive at Chuong Village, the oldest conical hat craft village in Northern Vietnam, where this skill has been passed down for more than three centuries. Here, you’ll discover how these hats and the traditional Ao Dai embody the grace and charm of Vietnamese culture.
09:45 – 10:00: Next, we head to Quang Phu Cau Incense Village. This village, with its long-standing tradition of incense making since the French colonial era, offers a peaceful atmosphere and vibrant displays of incense bouquets. Witness the incense production process, capture colorful photographs, and connect with locals. Our guide will provide insights into the rich history of this craft.
11:00: Depart for Duong Lam Ancient Village.
12:30: Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant in Duong Lam Ancient Village.
14:00: Hop on a bike for a guided tour of the village’s highlights, including the ancient village gate, Mong Phu communal house, Giang Van Minh Temple, and Mia Pagoda, known for its ancient statues. After the tour, take some time to wander the ancient streets at your own pace.
16:00: Depart Duong Lam Ancient Village and head back to Hanoi.
17:30: Arrive back in Hanoi and we’ll drop you off at your hotel or any location within the Old Quarter. Your journey through traditional villages ends here.
